01 Configure markets according to the institution's business scope

Different institutions may be permitted to operate different financial businesses.

For example, an institution may have qualifications or permissions related to equities, foreign exchange, commodities, digital assets, or other markets and products.

Administrators should enable markets in Finger Manager according to the institution's actual licenses, permissions, authorizations, and business scope.

Finger Manager does not determine whether an institution is qualified to operate a market. The institution should confirm its own licenses, regulatory requirements, and business permissions before configuring market availability.

02 Select the markets to open

After entering Market & Product Management > Market Management, administrators can view the market types currently supported by the system.

Typical configurable markets may include stocks, forex, commodities, digital currency or digital assets, and other connected markets.

Administrators can enable the markets that should be offered to customers. Once a market is enabled, it becomes part of the institution's available market scope and can be used for further product and counter configuration.

03 Synchronize market configuration to Finger Trader

Market status is synchronized with the front-end display in Finger Trader App.

The typical process is: Finger Manager enables a market, saves the institution market configuration, synchronizes market permissions, and Finger Trader App displays the corresponding market entry.

For example, after an institution enables Stocks and Forex, customers can see those market categories in Finger Trader. If a market is not enabled in Manager, the app will not display that market entry to customers under the institution.

04 Disable a market

When an institution no longer wants to provide a market to customers, it can disable that market in Manager.

After the market is disabled, Finger Trader App hides the corresponding market entry according to the latest configuration.

Disabling a market mainly affects front-end market visibility and the subsequent product access scope.

Before disabling a market that is already in use, administrators should confirm whether there are still customer positions, pending orders, open business items, related trading products, or other system configurations that depend on that market.

05 Markets and products are two levels of configuration

Enabling a market does not automatically make all products under that market available to customers.

Finger Manager uses a layered structure: Market > Product > Counter / Ticker.

First, Market Management defines which markets the institution may display. Second, specific products are added under the corresponding market. Third, each product is configured with its counter, ticker, trading parameters, and other business rules.

For example, after enabling the Stocks market, the institution can continue adding AAPL, TSLA, NVDA, and other stock products. Only products that have completed their configuration will appear in the detailed product list in Finger Trader.

06 Relationship between market configuration and institutional licenses

Market management is a configuration function for the institution's own business scope.

For example, an institution that only operates stock-related business can enable only the Stocks market and avoid showing Forex, Commodities, or other markets to customers. Another institution with multiple market permissions can enable multiple markets at the same time.

This allows the same Finger Trader front end to display different market structures according to each institution's license scope, business scope, and product system.

07 Independent configuration in a multi-institution environment

Market configuration is managed by institution.

Different Makers, Brokers, or other business entities can maintain independent market configurations. For example, Institution A may enable Stocks and Forex, Institution B may enable Stocks and Commodities, and Institution C may enable Stocks only.

Finger Trader loads market configuration according to the institution that the customer belongs to. The markets a customer sees are therefore determined by the markets actually enabled for that customer's institution in Manager.

08 Front-end effect after market changes

After market configuration is saved, the system synchronizes the latest state to Finger Trader.

When customers re-enter the market page or the app reloads its configuration, they can see the updated result.

Common changes include new market entries appearing, disabled market entries being hidden, market categories being adjusted, and related product lists changing.

This allows an institution to adjust the visible market scope from Manager without publishing a new app version.

09 Permission control

Market management is an important product configuration permission.

It is recommended to grant access only to roles with the appropriate responsibilities, such as system administrators, product administrators, institution administrators, compliance users, or authorized business owners.

Customer service, account managers, or other roles that are not responsible for product configuration usually do not need permission to enable or disable markets.

The actual operation scope is controlled by the role and permission system in Finger Manager.

10 Compliance confirmation before configuration

Finger Manager provides market configuration and front-end display capabilities. It does not review or authorize an institution's business qualifications.

Before enabling a market, the institution should confirm whether it has the corresponding business license or permission, whether it may provide the relevant products to customers in the target region, whether required market access has been completed, whether local regulatory requirements are satisfied, and whether trading, quote, and clearing capabilities have been configured.

Whether a market can be offered to end customers should be determined independently by the institution using Finger Manager according to its own regulatory requirements.

Usage tip

The complete logic of market management can be understood as: institution license or business permission, select operable markets, enable markets in Finger Manager, configure products and counters under those markets, then Finger Trader synchronizes the display automatically.

Market management mainly answers: Which markets is this institution prepared to provide to customers?

The question of which products are offered inside a market is completed later through product and counter configuration.

With this structure, Finger Manager can generate the corresponding market and product structure in Finger Trader according to the actual business scope of each financial institution.
