Pending tasks
Pending tasks centralize the work that the current signed-in user needs to process, confirm, or complete in Finger Manager.
The system aggregates items from customer management, trading management, content and notification, system configuration, and other business modules according to the user's role, permissions, and business state. Users can click a task to open the related business page and continue processing.
What are pending tasks
Pending tasks can be understood as the task list Finger Manager prepares for the current back-office user.
When a business process requires human confirmation, approval, additional information, or further operation, the system can generate a corresponding pending task.
Different roles may see different pending tasks.
01. View pending tasks
After signing in to Finger Manager, users can open Dashboard -> Pending Tasks to view tasks they are allowed to process.
Each task can display task name, type, related user, related business object, created time, status, priority, owner, due time, and the action that should be performed.
02. View task details
Clicking a pending task opens the complete task information. A customer review task, for example, can show customer name, User ID, account status, submitted materials, application time, review status, remarks, and previous processing records.
If the task comes from another module, the system shows the corresponding business information. Users do not need to search for the related customer, order, or notification again.
03. Continue processing in the related module
Pending tasks mainly work as a task aggregation and entry mechanism. When users click a task, Finger Manager can route them directly to the corresponding module.
For example, a customer review task can open Customer Management -> Customer Details; an unfinished product configuration task can open Market & Product Management; a notification waiting for publishing can open Content & Notification; and a trading task can open the related order or position.
04. Task status
Each pending task has a status that indicates processing progress. Common statuses can include Pending, In Progress, Waiting, Completed, Rejected, and Cancelled.
Different business modules can use different statuses according to their own workflow.
05. Priority
Tasks that need faster handling can be assigned a priority such as High, Normal, or Low.
Priority helps back-office users decide processing order. Items related to trading, customer accounts, or system exceptions can be assigned higher priority.
06. Owner
A pending task can be assigned to a specific back-office user or role.
For example, customer review tasks can be assigned to Compliance, product launch configuration to Operations, customer service items to Customer Service, and trading items to Trading Operations.
07. Display tasks by role
Finger Manager displays pending tasks according to the signed-in user's roles and permissions.
Operations users may mainly see banners waiting for publishing, announcements, product display settings, and operations tasks. Customer Service users may see customer inquiries and account service tasks. Compliance users may see KYC / KYB review and customer data review tasks. Trading Operations users may see order, position, trading exception, and signal processing tasks.
Users do not see tasks outside their permission scope.
08. Filter pending tasks
When there are many tasks, filters help users quickly narrow the list. Common filters include status, type, priority, owner, created time, due time, customer, and business module.
For example, selecting Status: Pending and Priority: High shows only high-priority tasks that have not been processed.
09. Search
Users can search for specific tasks by customer name, User ID, order number, product name, task title, or business reference number.
10. Complete a task
After the related business work is completed, a pending task can be automatically or manually updated to Completed.
For example, a customer review task can complete after the review is submitted; a notification task can be removed from pending after publishing; and a product configuration task can become completed after required configuration is finished.
Completed tasks can remain available in history for later review.
11. Task reminders
For important or soon-due tasks, the dashboard can show reminders such as pending count, high-priority tasks, tasks near due time, and overdue tasks.
For more active reminders, pending tasks can also be combined with system notifications, in-app messages, Email, or other notification channels.
12. Due time
Some tasks can have a due time. The system can use it to classify tasks as normal, near due, or overdue, helping teams process time-sensitive work first.
13. Processing records
Important tasks can keep a processing history, including who created the task, who viewed it, who started processing, who changed its status, who completed it, completion time, and remarks.
If a task is transferred to another user, the transfer record can also be retained.
14. Cross-module task aggregation
Pending tasks are not an isolated business system. They aggregate work from Finger Manager modules that require human processing.
Customer management can generate review tasks, trading management can generate trading tasks, content and notification can generate publishing tasks, system settings can generate configuration confirmation tasks, and organization and permissions can generate approval tasks.
This allows users to avoid checking every module one by one for unfinished work.
Pending task workflow
The workflow is: a business module generates a task, the system identifies the task type, assigns ownership according to role and permissions, displays the task in Pending Tasks, the back-office user opens it, enters the related business page, completes the operation, and the system updates the task status and history.
Typical use cases
Customer review When a new customer submits materials, the system creates a review task so compliance staff can enter customer details and complete the review.
Product launch When a product has been created but configuration is incomplete, a task can remind operations staff to finish market, trading hours, price precision, and other settings.
Content publishing Notifications, banners, or announcements that are ready but not published can wait for operations confirmation in Pending Tasks.
Trading exceptions When trading systems identify orders, positions, or states requiring manual confirmation, they can generate high-priority tasks.
Internal approvals High-risk operations can first generate approval tasks and wait for users with higher permissions to confirm before execution.
In short, Pending Tasks is the task aggregation capability inside the Finger Manager dashboard. It brings together work that requires human processing and presents it according to roles, permissions, priority, and owner.
This helps institutions reduce missed work, shorten processing paths, and understand which back-office tasks are still unfinished.
