Search and filters

Search and filters are used to quickly locate a target customer when the customer base is large, or to narrow the customer list by specific conditions.

Back-office users can search by customer number, username, mobile number, Email, and other customer identifiers, and can combine account status, business status, and additional filters to reduce the result set.

Search results are the entry point for viewing customer detail, checking account status, performing customer-management actions, or exporting permitted data.

01. Enter customer search conditions

The top of the customer list provides commonly used search fields. These fields are intended to help staff locate a customer before opening detail or performing follow-up operations.

If the customer identity is already clear, it is recommended to search by highly unique information such as UID, mobile number, or Email. If only a partial username or another non-unique field is entered, the system may return multiple matching customers.

Customer number / UID Use a unique system identifier to locate one customer record.
Username Useful when staff only know the customer's displayed name, but it may return more than one result.
Mobile number Useful for customer-service verification and precise account lookup.
Email Useful when the customer contacts support by registered email.

02. Run the customer search

After filling in search conditions, click Search to submit the current filters. The system reloads the customer list and only displays records that match the current conditions.

When multiple conditions are filled in at the same time, Finger Manager applies the current back-office query logic to combine those conditions and further narrow the customer range. To view the full list again, clear the fields or use Reset.

03. Review the current filter scope

After a query is completed, the page keeps the current search conditions. Staff can use the filter summary to confirm which conditions were used and how many records were returned.

Before viewing customer data, changing status, or exporting results, confirm the current filter scope again to avoid operating on the wrong customer or the wrong data range.

04. Review search results

Search results are displayed in the customer list. Depending on page configuration, the result table can show customer name, UID, Email, mobile number, cancellation state, account-opening status, Pilot status, creation time, and other customer status fields.

Search and filters only narrow the customer list. They do not modify any customer profile, permission, or account status.

05. Open customer detail

After locating the target customer, click the customer record to open the customer detail page. Detail pages provide the follow-up context needed for identity verification, account review, status checks, and customer-management actions.

Common detail areas include base identity information, account information, Maker / Broker ownership, inviter or IB relationship, customer status, user risk tags, historical orders, and back-office operation records.

06. Combine filter conditions

When there are many customers, multiple conditions can be used together to narrow the list. Combined filtering reduces manual paging and row-by-row lookup.

Examples include UID + Email for stronger identity confirmation, username + mobile number for customers with duplicate names, and customer status + account-opening status for finding a group of customers in a specific business state.

07. Reset search conditions

Use Reset when you need to end the current query and return to the default customer list. Reset clears the current search fields and filter conditions.

When processing multiple unrelated customers in sequence, reset the previous conditions before starting the next search so old filters do not affect the result.

08. Export search results

Authorized roles can export the current search or filter result. The exported data should be generated from the current query conditions and the current user's accessible data scope.

In other words, the export contains data that matches the filters within the user's permission scope, not every customer record in the system.

Export is controlled by role permissions, data scope, organization permissions, and export permissions. Accounts without the required permissions should not see or use the related export functions.

09. Search permissions and data scope

Different back-office accounts may be able to search different customer ranges. A platform administrator may search all customers under the current organization, a Broker manager may only search customers under the assigned Broker, and an IB or business user may only search customers under their own or authorized scope.

Therefore, even with the same UID, Email, or other search condition, different roles may receive different results. Search results are always limited by the current account's data permission scope.

10. Handle no matching results

If no customer records are returned, check whether the UID is complete, whether the Email is spelled correctly, whether the phone number format is correct, whether other filters are still applied, whether the current account has access to the customer, and whether the customer belongs to another organization, Broker, or business scope.

If needed, click Reset to clear all conditions and run the search again.

Usage note

A recommended workflow is: confirm customer identifier -> enter search conditions -> review matching results -> confirm customer identity -> open customer detail -> perform follow-up actions.

For actions such as changing customer status, adjusting ownership, viewing sensitive data, or exporting records, confirm the customer by UID, Email, or another strong identifier first. This reduces the risk of acting on the wrong customer because of duplicate names or overly broad search conditions.

Search and filters do not modify customer data. They are a foundational tool in Finger Manager for quickly locating customers and controlling the visible data range.

  1. Use the primary customer identifiers from the customer list search form: customer number, username, mobile number, and email. These fields are intended for locating a specific customer quickly.

The search condition is prepared before querying.
  2. Click Search or press Enter to submit the form. The table reloads with the current form values and returns only matching customer records.

The customer list is narrowed to the matching result set.
  3. The result table keeps customer identity, contact data, closed state, account-opening state, Pilot state, creation time, and available actions in the same row.

Operators can confirm the customer before entering detail.
  4. Clicking the row or Detail opens the customer detail page. Export uses the same search conditions and should only be available to authorized roles.

Search results become the basis for follow-up operations.
