Historical orders

Historical orders are used to search and review completed and archived trading records.

This page belongs to the Trading Management area in Finger Manager and is primarily used by operations, risk, compliance, support, and other authorized back-office users. Unlike trading front ends such as Finger Trader, the historical orders page is not used to place new trades. It is used to query, verify, and trace orders that have already completed their lifecycle.

The system keeps important trading information such as account, product, side, volume, execution price, fees, profit and loss, open time, close time, and order status, so back-office users can revisit the complete trading record when needed.

Query historical orders

Users can use the filters at the top of the page to quickly locate a specific trading record.

For example, when a customer provides an order number and asks about a historical trade, back-office users can search directly by order number instead of manually browsing a large number of records.

Market type Filter by market category.
User name Find records for a named customer.
User number Search by the user's internal number.
Order number Locate one exact order record.
Date range Limit records by open, close, or archive time.
Configurable filters Additional filters can be configured by the institution.

Historical trading statistics

The top of the page shows statistics for the current query scope, helping back-office users quickly understand the selected historical trading set.

These values change with the current filters and can be used to review a specific user, time range, or product category. The exact fields are configurable by the institution.

Fee income Aggregated fees in the selected query range.
Overnight interest Overnight interest values associated with closed orders.
Closed profit and loss Profit and loss generated after order close.
Completed order count Number of archived orders in the selected scope.

View order details

The historical order list shows each completed trade record. Users can click or expand an order to inspect more detailed information.

Through the detail view, back-office users can reconstruct the main process from order creation to final close.

Partial close records If the order was partially closed, the system can show close price, close volume, fee, and actual close time.
Settlement information The system can show final close profit and loss, overnight interest, settlement currency, and final status.

Order review and issue tracing

One common use of historical orders is to support trade review and customer inquiries.

For example, if a customer asks why a final profit and loss amount was calculated in a certain way, the back-office user can review open price, close price, volume, fees, overnight interest, and final profit and loss in sequence.

Review path Open price -> close price -> volume -> fee -> overnight interest -> final profit and loss.

Data export

Historical order query results can be exported according to the user's back-office permissions. The available fields and data scope are controlled by the institution's Finger Manager permission settings.

Operations statistics Use exported records for internal operating reports.
Finance review Check fees, overnight interest, and related charges.
Support and compliance Support customer inquiries, compliance review, risk review, analysis, and internal archiving.

Difference from live orders

Live orders focus on orders that are still in the trading lifecycle, such as waiting, filled but not closed, or still being processed.

Historical orders focus on records that have ended, completed settlement, and been archived. When an order is finally processed, it enters historical orders for future search and review.

Live orders Current trades that are still happening.
Historical orders Completed trading records.

Use cases

Historical orders are commonly used for customer inquiries, trade review, operations statistics, risk and compliance review, and finance reconciliation.

Customer inquiry Find a historical trade by user number or order number.
Trade review Check price, volume, fees, interest, and final profit and loss.
Operations statistics Review completed order counts and related trading data by period.
Risk and compliance Trace unusual trades or specific account records.
Finance reconciliation Reconcile fees, overnight interest, and other trading-related charges.

In short: historical orders are the Finger Manager back-office page for searching, reviewing, tracing, and exporting completed and archived trading records.

  1. Administrators can switch between personal history and user history depending on their permissions and operational role.

The page displays the appropriate historical order dataset.
  2. Use currency, market type, customer name, user number, order number, and date range to narrow down the records.

The table returns only matching closed order records.
  3. Grouped rows can be expanded to inspect partial close records, operation prices, fees, profit, and timestamps.

Trading operations can reconstruct the order lifecycle from the history page.
  4. Authorized users can export main records or detailed records for finance review, reconciliation, or audit work.

The exported file keeps the same filter scope as the current query.
