Carousel banner (Home Banner)

Carousel banners are used to show operational content, product promotions, market campaigns, important information, or other high-priority content on the Finger Trader App home page.

Operations teams can create and manage carousel banners directly in Finger Manager, including image, display order, target audience, display time, and tap-through URL. After publishing, the content is synchronized to the Finger Trader App home page without releasing a new App version.

Through centralized back-office configuration, financial institutions can quickly adjust key home-page content according to campaigns, product operations, or customer segmentation needs.

Publish home banners from Manager to the App home page

Finger Manager manages banner creation, configuration, publishing, and App-side display in one workflow.

After the back-office user publishes a banner, users who match the display rules can see it on the Finger Trader App home page. When the banner is modified, paused, stopped, or unpublished in Manager, the App-side display status is updated accordingly.

01 Select the carousel banner

Operations staff first select the Home Banner item that needs to be created or edited.

The system can maintain multiple carousel banners at the same time. The App home page display is determined by sorting rules, display time, and audience conditions configured in Manager.

02 Configure image, copy, and display rules

A banner can include title, image, short copy, placement, display order, display time, target audience, and tap-through URL.

Banners can be used for new product launches, market campaigns, IPO or new-share information, important market updates, feature promotion, customer-specific campaigns, or other institution-defined content.

After configuration, the operator can review the banner effect and status before publishing.

03 Set target users

Carousel banners can target different audiences based on institution operations needs.

Common audience scopes include all users, specified customers, customer groups, users of a specific market, users of a specific product, or users matching certain conditions.

With audience targeting, the same Finger Trader App can show different home-page content to different customer groups.

04 Set display time

Operations staff can set the start time and end time for each carousel banner.

The banner starts displaying automatically at the configured start time and stops after the end time.

For IPOs, product launches, limited-time campaigns, or phase-based market promotions, teams can configure the banner in advance and let the system control the display status automatically.

05 Publish to App home page

After configuration is complete, the operator publishes the banner in Finger Manager.

After publishing, the banner appears in the Finger Trader App home Banner area according to its configured rules.

The App does not need a version update. Users can see the latest banner after returning to the home page or after the client fetches the latest configuration.

06 Tap-through routing

Carousel banners are not only used for display. They can also act as operational entry points inside the App.

Each banner can route users to a product detail page, market page, product trading page, news or article, campaign page, App feature page, Web page, or other supported target address.

After the user taps a banner, Finger Trader follows the routing rule configured in Manager.

Manager and App synchronization

Manager configuration flow: create Banner -> upload image and copy -> set target users -> set display time -> set sorting -> configure tap target -> publish.

Finger Trader App flow: receive latest configuration -> check whether the user matches display conditions -> show Banner on home page -> rotate according to sorting -> user taps Banner -> route to the configured page.

The whole process is controlled from Finger Manager.

Typical use cases

New product promotion When an institution adds stocks, ETFs, funds, CFDs, or other products, a home banner can route users to the related product page.
Market campaign For trading campaigns, customer campaigns, or phase-based promotions, banners provide sustained exposure on the App home page.
IPO or new-share information For IPOs, new-share subscriptions, or time-bound capital-market activities, teams can schedule display time and link to the related page.
Priority market promotion When an institution wants to promote a specific market or asset category, a home banner can route relevant users directly to that market.
Segmented customer operations Different banners can be shown to VIP customers, specific regions, product users, or campaign participants.

Carousel banners configured in Finger Manager are dynamic operational content. Institutions can adjust content, order, timing, and routing targets directly from the back office without modifying the Finger Trader App client.

  1. The operator selects the Banner notification type for the app home page.

The form switches to banner placement and image settings.
  2. Set the banner title, copy, image, target audience, display time, and tap URL.

The banner is ready to preview and publish.
  3. After publishing, the banner appears in the home carousel and participates in rotation.

Users see the banner on the app home page.
  4. The banner can route users to the configured product, market, article, or campaign page.

The app behavior follows the Manager configuration.
